Meet Amanda Dunn, SVP & General Counsel, a true adventurer and a cornerstone of our team.
Amanda’s story is as dynamic as Magellan itself. From navigating a yacht across the Atlantic to earning her law degree, MBA, and private pilot’s license, she’s brought a unique mix of expertise and passion to our company since its earliest days. She was even one of the original to vote for naming the company "Magellan" after the famous explorer, Ferdinand Magellan!
Starting in a tiny Palm Beach apartment in 2000, Amanda has been part of Magellan’s transformation into a trusted industry leader. Through the years, her sharp legal mind and commitment to integrity have helped ensure Magellan’s reputation as an honest and reliable business partner. She describes her role as “like oil in an engine,” allowing the company to run smoothly and enabling deal flow.
When she’s not helping Magellan soar, Amanda can be found traveling the globe with her daughter, Morgan, relaxing with her dogs Puffin & Sid Vicious, or riding her beloved horse, Zena.
