Magellan Group has been included in the DELTA Tech Ops list of approved vendors

Magellan is currently disassembling several CRJ 100s/200s - ex Comair under an exclusive agreement with Bombardier. The parts and engines CF34-3A1/3B1 are available immediately

Magellan has acquired for disassembly 1 ex Smartlynx A320 for disassembly.  2 ea. Cfm56-5A1s are available for parts sales.

Magellan will be disassembling 2ea. CFM56-5C/F for parts available in Q1 2011

Magellan has acquired for disassembly / part-out -1 ex ANA A320.

2 - CFM56-5A1 engines will be disassembled for parts

MAGELLAN AVIATION GROUP QUALITY REQUIREMENTS

PURCHASE AND REPAIR ORDERS

 

  • All Products ordered by specific part numbers which must be delivered as ordered and with all applicable trace paperwork and with no substitutions without Magellan’s specific prior written approval.

 

  • Supplier must notify Magellan of any non conforming product part included in an order or used incorporated within any repairs performed on behalf of Magellan, and obtain Magellan nonconforming product disposition approval.

 

  • Supplier must notify Magellan of any changes in product and/or process definition.

 

  • Magellan and applicable regulatory authorities have right of access to all Supplier’s facilities involved in Magellan purchase/repair orders and all applicable records.

 

  • Supplier must flow down to sub-tier suppliers and vendors all applicable requirements of Magellan’s purchase/repair order[s].

 

  • Magellan requires supplier to promptly report defects and un-airworthy conditions to Magellan and to all applicable regulatory authorities.

 

  • All work must be accomplished in accordance with the latest revision of the manufacturer’s publications, manuals, recommendations and requirements. 

 

  • Supplier must comply with all applicable manufacturer’s requirements and aviation authority regulations, including but not limited to compliance with all applicable FAA airworthy directives.

 

  • Magellan requires all applicable release documentation, which might include teardown reports, work-scope packages, proof that product is non incident related, FAA/EASA/CAAC (as applicable) tags, 8130’s, EASA form 1s and all applicable trace paperwork to be included with product and maintained by supplier for a minimum retention period as defined by applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

 

 

The above Quality Requirements shall be deemed to have been accepted by Supplier upon receipt by Magellan Group of any writing, including a writing transmitted by fax or other means of electronic transmission, indicating acceptance, or by any of the following: (i) shipment of the goods or any portion thereof; or (ii) performance of any services described in applicable purchase/repair order.
