We have the experience of structuring joint ventures whereby we maximize the partner’s skills and resources to develop a viable investment. The JV structure can include an arrangement whereby Magellan Group Investments participates as an investor and Magellan Group acts as the project manager.

Magellan has access to external capital for larger investment projects.

Purchase of One 737-300F

Purchase of Three A310’s
Purchased three A310 passenger aircraft and sold them on to FedEx utilizing Magellan’s cargo conversion experience and the marketing expertise of our 50 percent investment partner.

Joint Consignment Mandate
Jointly awarded the consignment of a distressed engine and accessories pool by a large financial institution. Magellan provided the expertise to sell the accessories and our partner managed the engines. The project was completed satisfactorily after a two year period.

Purchase and Sale of Six DC10-30’s
Our partners were the former management of a large leasing company. They joined forces with Magellan to purchase six DC10-30’s that were converted to freighters and sold on to an investment banking firm.
